Our Luxury Cornwall Home

Welcome to Tregea. Providing high quality, stylish living in Cornwall is our passion. We firmly believe that holidays should be holidays, not harder work than being at home!

We have found a successful formula for our small business – creating a stunning large family home within a few minutes of a safe beach, whilst surrounding you with breath-taking views and ensuring there is plenty to do in the area. Our objective is to give our guests the perfect escape whatever the weather. With an amazing number of repeat visitors, we feel we must be doing something right!

The main house sleeps up to 10 people (plus cots) in 5 bedrooms, and the annexe in the orchard sleeps up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms (with a bathroom and a living area) away from the main house at the bottom of the garden. The Orchard is very private and is perfect for those who want to escape the bustle of the main house on a big family holiday. We think it’s the perfect set-up!! Many of our guests don’t want to fill the house up but what they DO want is flexibility in accommodation and the ability for those that need it to have their own rooms whilst also accommodating cousins or friends who want the fun of sharing rooms whilst on holiday!

PLEASE NOTE WE RENT OUR HOME FROM THURSDAY TO THURSDAY. SHORTER BREAKS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE OFF-SEASON. CHECK IN TIME IS 5PM AND CHECK OUT IS 11AM x

Tregea

Tregea enjoys the most amazing views of Harlyn itself and the surrounding bays. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it enjoys direct views to Trevone across sweeping fields with no other houses in sight. From upstairs you can look across to Constantine and the other headlands in view, all equally beautiful. We have found a truly special spot – to have the views AND the space AND yet still be only seven/eight minutes walk from the beach is very unique. A one minute drive by car has you on the beach. Dogs are welcome at Tregea and on Harlyn beach itself. The beach is life-guarded daily for the whole Season.

My family and I fell in love with Harlyn fifteen years ago on our first visit to North Cornwall and by the time I left, a week later, I had found Tregea, my first venture into this area. Ex-City, I was looking for a “project” and a small business to run whilst bringing up my three small children. Tregea was the project! It has been successfully run as a holiday let ever since with all of us enjoying many a family holiday in it along the way. I have enjoyed upgrading it and adding in different features over the years. Over the Winter of 2021, we completed our latest upgrade, adding a separate two bedroom annexe at the bottom of the garden, in order to make the house even more suitable for multi-generational groups, for large families and for the off-season holidays and long weekends that have become more and more popular over the years at Tregea. We wanted to ensure that, no matter when you came to Harlyn, you experienced the wonders of our area and our property and enjoyed every moment. It’s an incredibly special place. 

And so, here we are, firmly entrenched in this most beautiful part of the world. Hopefully we can share it with you too…
