A fabulous place to spend Christmas! We couldn’t have asked for more. A beautifully decorated Christmas tree, a hamper of goodies, scented candles, an immaculate home with everything we needed! We will be back!! Pauline and family Christmas 2016
Thank you for lending us your beautiful home -we came as an extended family and around the area, we found so much to do – great activities for all of us! The toddlers and biggies spent much time on the trampoline. We enjoyed the Seal Sanctuary, Bodmin and Wenford Railway, the local beach and the farm shop (as recommended) and cycling the Camel Trail. Lovely bakery in the village (for Cornish pasties for the beach), lots of beach stuff/equipment in the garage (thank you!) and loads of local restaurants and takeaways! Thank you so so much!! Amanda, Gareth and family
We stayed in Tregea in June – it had been a tough and tiring six months and we were looking for some sanctuary and a bit of luxury. At Tregea, we found both in spades. “We” were three generations ranging from 18 months to 69 years and there was something for everyone: beautiful decor, snugly throw blankets, bean bags to disappear into (me), AMAZING views (69 year old aunt), garden as far as the eye can see complete with footie goals and giant trampoline (1.5 years and 3 years), pub within walking distance (35 year old sister), gorgeous very well kitted out kitchen (my fab cook of a mum who catered all week – thanks Mam!) and two tvs (everyone who wanted to watch the world cup rather than Peppa Pig). The house was beautiful, flooded with light and incredibly spacious. It was luxurious and beautifully decorated but you never felt like you needed to follow the kids around all day…Suzanne was amazing to deal with going through the booking process and provided all the information we needed. She was so friendly and relaxed that it really helped us to feel at home during our stay. There was a glorious playroom which was filled (quite literally) with toys. We never ran out of things to do – even on the drizzly days when we couldn’t scoot around the garden, attempt death defying somersaults on the trampoline or score a hat-trick (with the three year old in goal but still…). We had seven action packed days, built hundreds of sandcastles, ate scones, strolled around Padstow. The kids slept like logs every night (the place is worth every penny for this alone!) and the grown ups enjoyed many bottles of wine on the terrace in the evening sunshine or copied up in the room with the views, enjoying the moody skies and the choppy seas! We had such a blissful week – eating, drinking and playing with My Little Ponies to our hearts’ content. Just wonderful – we can’t wait to go back!!! Becky and family x
Holidays should be holidays – not harder work than being at home. At Tregea, you will truly feel that you are on holiday.
Suzanne, thank you so much for our stay at Trelawney. For us, it was perfect in every way. My mum and dad who are elderly loved the ease of getting about on the ground floor – it is so well equipped and there wasn’t anything that we missed! We hope to be back really soon. Paula and family July 2017
We have had an amazing week at Tregea and loved every minute. The house is superb and really feels like a home from home, great attention to detail and a beautiful setting make Tregea the best place to stay in Cornwall – we’ll definitely be back!!!! Stu, Kate and family – June 2013
We spent a lovely family weekend celebating a 30th birthday party. We were welcomed with a lovely hamper full of Cornish treats. The house was so well equipped and had everything we needed. It was a great location and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the gardens!!!
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your beautiful holiday home. Tregea has such a special feel – you have thought of everything for both adults and children alike which has added to our enjoyment of such a beautiful part of the country immensely. A fantastic holiday!
Storm Eleanor blew a gale all week so it was lovely to come back to the calm and welcoming environment of Trelawney. Thank you for all the extras like the beach towels and surf boards which we used at Harlyn and Polzeath, and the coffee for the coffee machine, and the hamper…and then there was the real Christmas tree!!!!!
Wow – what a home and your attention to detail was so impressive – we couldn’t believe how much thought you had put into creating such a fabulous space…the decor and the set up is gorgeous but all those extras really made it a special holiday (the shed and the wetsuits, the laundry room which had an external door to contain any sand (!!), the travel cots, the toys, games, even the first aid box! And that bucket of coffee pods was a real treat!!! Thank you thank you thank you for a lovely 4 days – we only wish we could return again soon. Michela Chiappa and her lovely family!
