The Camel Trail which can be walked or cycled, follows the line of a disused railway and runs along the beautiful Camel estuary, from Padstow the 6 miles to Wadebridge, and on, for the more adventurous, another 8 miles to Bodmin. Cycle hire is available.
Further afield, there is a massive choice of attractions from the awesome Eden project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan to the natural beauty of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor, Crealy Adventure Park, go-karting, Tintagel Castle, the aquarium at Newquay, Tresallyn Riding Stables – whatever your fancy, you can find it.
